Marci has been with the St. Joseph Convention & Visitors Bureau since 1993, serving as Executive Director since 1994. The governor has appointed her to serve on both the Missouri Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Commission and the Missouri Historical Records Advisory Commission. Recently Marci was also appointed to the Missouri Tourism Commission. She also serves as Executive Director for the Missouri Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus.
As Director of Sales. Mary oversees all sales efforts in marketing Buchanan County as a tourism destination. Mary is a 1987 graduate of Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, MO. After working in the tourism industry for 15 years, Mary joined the CVB staff in 2000 and holds many affiliations with local organizations and associations.
Beth came to the CVB in early 2005 with 6 years experience in the Marketing & Tourism Industry. She was previously employed with the Pony Express National Museum in St. Joseph as Chief Operations Officer and Director of Marketing. As Communications Director, Beth is in charge of all Public Relations, advertising, website, and maintaining affiliation with several community groups. She is also the liaison for the St. Joseph Film Division.
Jolene has been with the Convention & Visitors Bureau since 1999. As Group Sales and Services Manager, Jolene is responsible for all aspects of the motor coach market, which includes planning itineraries for group tour and bank travel planners. She also handles the military, family, and class reunion markets. She coordinates all services for groups and conventions that come to St. Joseph.
Lindsay joined the CVB staff in 2004 as the Office Manager managing numerous special proejcts. In 2006 she was promoted to Visitor Relations Manager, managing daily operations, the St. Joseph Visitors Center, Office Volunteer Program & the Show Me St. Jo Workshop. In 2008 she was promoted again taking on the Sports Marketing Sales Manager position. As Sales Manger, her responsibilites are to attract, promote and provide support to local, state, regional and national events to the St. Joseph area. She will continue to manage and coordinate the Visitor Relations portion of the Bureau as well.
Judy has 13 years of tourism experience having come to the Convention and Visitors Bureau from the Glore Psychiatric Museum in St. Joseph. She joined the staff at the CVB in April 2005. Judy manages the daily operations at the St. Joseph Visitors Center. Her main responsibility is to assist our visitors and maintain open communciation with our local attractions and hotels. She also maintains the CVB's Calendar of Events and Visitor Guide Distribution.
